Today is the day
+++++++++++++++++++
Is there something special you’ve been meaning to do? Today is the day to get started.
Is there something you know that needs to be said? Today is your chance to effectively and compellingly express it.
Is there someone you’ve been thinking of getting in touch with? This is the moment when you can go ahead and reach out.
Formulating the best of intentions is a great way to start.
Yet for those intentions to have any value, they must be acted upon.
Today is the day to put your magnificent and meaningful intentions into action. Today is the magical space in which possibilities can indeed become real.
Today is here and ready to be lived. Give your best to today, and its value will always stay with you.
Ralph Marston
Quick Thought:
“For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry.”" Hebrews 10:36-37 (NKJ)
Luke 21:20-28
“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is at hand. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are in the midst of the city depart, and let not those who are in the country enter the city; because these are days of vengeance, in order that all things which are written may be fulfilled.”
“Woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babes in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people, and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”
“And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”
“But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Luke 21:20-28 (NAS)
John 20:1-9
“Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it was still dark, and saw the stone already taken away from the tomb. And so she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.”
“Peter therefore went forth, and the other disciple, and they were going to the tomb. And the two were running together; and the other disciple ran ahead faster than Peter, and came to the tomb first; and stooping and looking in, he saw the linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in.”
“Simon Peter therefore also came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he beheld the linen wrappings lying there, and the face-cloth, which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself.”
“So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb entered then also, and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.” John 20:1-9 (NAS)
