Another way
+++++++++++++++++++

Anger is not worth the price you pay for it. Transform it instead into positive resolve.

Despair will only keep you stuck where you are. Choose to exchange it for a good dose of inspiration.

Arrogance will cut you off from the world. Cast it away and replace it with generosity and enthusiasm.

Impatience only brings you mistakes and frustration. Let it go and let peaceful purpose take its place.

For every burden of your own creation, there is an alternative that will lift you up. When you feel yourself being dragged down by the attitude you have chosen, let that be a reminder to choose a more positive approach.

You are in control of the way you look at life. And the way you look at life surely and inevitably determines the way your life will be.

Quick Thought:

“Hear, O LORD, and have mercy on me; LORD, be my helper!” You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.” Psalm 30:10-12 (NKJ)

Luke 14:7-11

“And He (Jesus) began speaking a parable to the invited guests when He noticed how they had been picking out the places of honor at the table; saying to them:

“When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, lest someone more distinguished than you may have been invited by him, and he who invited you both shall come and say to you, ‘Give place to this man,’ and then in disgrace you proceed to occupy the last place.”

“But when you are invited, go and recline at the last place, so that when the one who has invited you comes, he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher’; then you will have honor in the sight of all who are at the table with you.”

“For everyone who exalts himself shall be humbled, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted.” Luke 14:7-11 (NAS)

John 12:9-19

“The great multitude therefore of the Jews learned that He (Jesus) was there; and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead. But the chief priests took counsel that they might put Lazarus to death also; because on account of him many of the Jews were going away, and were believing in Jesus.”

“On the next day the great multitude who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took the branches of the palm trees, and went out to meet Him, and began to cry out, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel.” And Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written, “Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”

“These things His disciples did not understand at the first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of Him, and that they had done these things to Him. And so the multitude who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb, and raised him from the dead, were bearing Him witness.”

“For this cause also the multitude went and met Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign. The Pharisees therefore said to one another, “You see that you are not doing any good; look, the world has gone after Him.” John 12:9-19 (NAS)
