Your choice of thoughts
+++++++++++++++++++
When you are discouraged, you could choose to fill your mind with negative, limiting thoughts that will deepen and intensify your discouragement. Or you can use your thoughts to break free of that discouragement.
Your thoughts have incredible power because they determine how you see yourself and your situation. And your thoughts, powerful as they can be, are yours to choose.
By wisely choosing your own thoughts, you can find new positive energy even when you have previously been overwhelmed with weariness. With your choice of thoughts, the difficult, challenging situations can be transformed into grand opportunities.
Turn your thoughts around, and you can indeed turn your life around. Put positive power into your thoughts, and that power will spread to the world around you.
What you think of yourself and your world has an enormous impact on how you relate to and deal with life. And you can, in an instant, choose any thought you wish.
In this and every moment, choose the thoughts that will get you up and point you forward. Then live out the fulfillment and abundance as you surely bring those thoughts to life.

Mark 15:25-32
“And it was the third hour when they crucified Him (Jesus). And the inscription of the charge against Him read, “THE KING OF THE JEWS.” And they crucified two robbers with Him, one on His right and one on His left. And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And He was numbered with transgressors.”
“And those passing by were hurling abuse at Him, wagging their heads, and saying, “Ha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself, and come down from the cross!”
“In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes, were mocking Him among themselves and saying, “He saved others; He cannot save Himself.”
“Let this Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, so that we may see and believe!” And those who were crucified with Him were casting the same insult at Him.” Mark 15:25-32 (NAS) Forward to a friend
John 11:1-13
“Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. And it was the Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.”
“The sisters therefore sent to Him (to Jesus) , saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.” But when Jesus heard it, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified by it.”
“Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. When therefore He heard that he was sick, He stayed then two days longer in the place where He was. Then after this He said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.” The disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone You, and are You going there again?”
“Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.” This He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I go, that I may awaken him out of sleep.” The disciples therefore said to Him, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.” Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that He was speaking of literal sleep.” John 11:1-13 (NAS)

“‘I’m completely disillusioned!’ How often have I heard people speak these words! They once believed in justice, honesty, friendship and love – and then they were deceived. These deceptions created such havoc in them that they not only lost their illusions but all their faith in people. Yes, so many confuse illusions and faith in this way. It is often useful to lose your illusions, but how can we make human beings understand that to lose faith in life and in people is the real loss? To become morose, shrivelled and withdrawn, to lack enthusiasm for anything… is there any greater loss? In the face of any and all opposition, we must know how to preserve our faith.”
